Porsche 911, an inspiration for artists

The Porsche 356, the first series-produced Porsche, received a successor in 1963. This successor is presented as the Porsche 901 but would eventually go through life as a Porsche 911. The Porsche 911 was named 'widowmaker' because of its unpredictable handling. This was caused by the engine hanging behind the suspension, which makes the nose lighter when accelerating and the front wheels no longer get a grip.

The turbo lag also resulted in full power being applied to the rear wheels with a delay, giving the Porsche 911 a dangerous reputation. Today, Porsche has completely shaken the image of 'Widowmaker' by using, among other things, four-wheel drive and double clutch transmission. Applying these techniques should be enough to keep the driver out of the ditch ...

A car with such a rich history is of course an obvious subject for artists. Artist Eric Jan Kremer has made special paintings of Porsches, including the Porsche 911.

Rent, rent or save a Porsche 911 painting

If you do not want to spend the amount at once on a Porsche 911 painting, there is the option to rent the Porsche painting or by means of a hire purchase agreement. You have the Porsche 911 painting directly on your wall. With a hire purchase agreement, you become the owner of the Porsche 911 painting when all installments have been paid. When renting you have flexibility to replace the painting with another painting if you want to have a different work of art on the wall. A combination of rents and hire purchase is also possible, in which case you pay part as rent and part as savings to eventually buy the painting or another painting.
